“Probe me if you dare” – Former Imo governor, Ohakim tells Governor Okorocha
Former Imo state governor, Ikedi Ohakim has said that his conscience is clear, and so he is not afraid of a probe.
Speaking at the occasion of the visit of the state executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to party members of Isiala Mbano, Ohakim said he wants the present government to probe him now.
Ohakim said he’s prepared to go to jail or sacrifice his life in defending whatever the PDP led government did in the state, adding that anybody condemning the PDP government in Imo is not sincere.
The former governor said he has received over 100 petitions, and claimed that he never awarded a single failed contract while in office nor inflated any contract. He went on to say that the accusation that he embezzled N200bn while in office is yet to be substantiated by the present government.
Ohakim said that he has come back to his home state and does not intend to run away from anybody anymore.
The Former Governor became notorious after the incident of stripping and jailing a Catholic priest for blocking his entourage.
