The truth behind Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha's accident.
The convoy of the Governor of Imo State; Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha was involved in an accident in Orlu Local Government Area of the state. The Governor sustained head injuries in the accident which was a head-on collision while on inspection tour of some projects that were being worked on around Orlu.
According to Ebere Ozoukwa, the Governor’s media aide, “Governor Okorocha sustained a minor injury which is a minor cut on his head but he is presently in a good and stable condition and has been attended to by medical personnel.”
Thereafter he was flown to London and we are told he was promptly discharged because he had no serious head injury but new reports state that he has been taken to another hospital in Isreal for further observation.
A reporter in Owerri told me that he is curious to know if indeed his injury to the head was minor or not and a lot of speculation and worry has pervaded the State. Everyone is asking why the Governor had to two different countries if the injury he sustained is actually minor?
What is the real truth? I do hope it's not serious.
