I have a burning question to ask, please. A lady is torn between settling for a guy that earns salary - blue chip company vs the guy that runs his own business - contracts.
Which is better in the long run? A ''salaried'' man or a businessman? She claims it's ''safe'' to settle with a salary earner, who receives his monthly wages rather than a business man who may invest in business and the returns may be indefinite but then when he hits it big, you could take a luxury trip round the world :-)
She works in a blue chip company and her folks have encouraged her to follow her heart than the money cos fortunes change like the tide but she doesn't want to take chances. She is scared of the uncertainties of business but lured by the big bucks that come with it*wink.
I know you can't eat your cake and have it..or can you?..methinks she need a crystal ball :-)
Please what's your take on this? Kindly advice.
She should look at other factors besides money. Money isn't everything. It comes in handy but shouldn't drive her decision.
ReplyDeleteI vote for salary earner and u can sve frm ur salary towards startin up a biz,forget biz men abeg,don't touch them,n suffer be that or he will live off u when his contracts don't sail tru.a word is enuff for the wise.

ReplyDeleteI wonder oh! Go make ur money & marry whoever u want to marry instead worrying about wether to marry a salaried man or businessman. Worry about if any1 will even come to ask for ur hand in marriage. Look around u many singles hoping dat an unemployed man will propose.
ReplyDeleteWho says there's certainty in salary earning. Haven't u heard of banks sacking their staff withou notice & without pay? Even if u sue them nothing will come out of it. My dear life is a roller coaster ride,nothing is certain. Unless u want to be God who is the only one that knows the future!
