Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie stuns on Magazine Cover.
The Award Winning writer, was named one of the twenty most important fiction writers today less than 40 years old by The New Yorker and was recently the guest speaker at the 2012 annual commonwealth lecture. She featured in the April 2012 edition of Time Magazine, celebrated as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. She currently divides her time between the United States and Nigeria.
I watched her interview by Zain Verjee on CNN's African Voices on her new novel ''Americanah''
Loving her hair :-)..sure brings back memories of school days*wink

ReplyDeleteAfrican heritage indeed, with all that make up. Don't get mi wrong, I love chimamanda and I am also an advocate of her africanism but haven stayed a while in new york...(E no good fi stay inna white man land too long)
ReplyDeleteMost ppl want to have their own signture and hers is her which incidentaly is talked about in her new book Americanah.It doesn't mean no make up na to showcase ur african roots.
