Rumor has it that Genny wants the Kokomaster, D’banj, back, since his last interview when the latter disclosed that he is still single. Actress Genevieve Nnaji has been making frantic efforts to win him back.
A source, who is an insider in D’banj’s camp, said Genevieve and D’banj drifted apart, their break up wasn't over a fight but because she was constantly complaining about the groupies around D’banj, he got tired of her drama and simply ignored her- two super sized celeb egos.
Now she wants to come back by all means, and has tried to make contact with the Singer but he is still wary about hooking up again.
One of his major concerns, according to the rumor mill, is that Genny is too nosy and always keeps tabs on D'Banj.hmmmmmm
Age comes into play too, D’banj will be 33 in June but Genevieve just turned 34. She is said to be playing the ‘age is nothing but a number' card.
It makes for a good gist, but am not quite sure I buy the story :-) They do make a fine couple though.*wink
