Do Nigerians have a ''Herd'' mentality?
Have you noticed how Nigerians wait for some one else to take the first initiative before everyone else quickly joins the bandwagon, it can be funny if you sit back and observe it.
Different scenarios are common: When the traffic light turns red and everybody is waiting patiently, the minute someone decides to run the red light everyone else follows suit, like the devil is after them...another, is in the banking hall of banks, everyone stands in the queue dutifully, looking the other way when people shunt and when a ''rebel'' comes into the bank and notices the unfair privilege some people receive for ''knowing'' a staff, and reacts, others who have been silent will then find their voice and join in the chorus. My friend calls it the ''herd'' mentality of Nigerians -''put your head first and other will join''.
Is this true? Have you noticed this?
