There was an attempted kidnap of Chief Vincent Obianodo of Young Shall Grow Motors yesterday in Festac town, Lagos.
Chief Obianodo was returning from work at about 9 p.m. when the gunmen,
numbering five, who drove in a Sport Utility Vehicle intercepted him on
22 Road and opened fire.
His driver and one of his security details, a policeman,Ngozi Chijioke, were killed in the gun battle that ensued between the kidnappers and Chief Obianodo's security, while two of the assailants were killed in the process. The MD of YSG also sustained gunshot wounds in the arm.

ReplyDeleteThings have really gone out of control. These kidnappers now also go for people that even have police protection round the clock? I am scared for Nigeria. These state Governors should give us a detailed account of the disbursement of the monthly security vote for every state. There is clearly no security in the states.
ReplyDeleteNo one is safe now in all the cities and states in Nigeria. I think we should be allowed to bear arms for self protection since the state has failed in that aspect.
