Prince William and his wife, Kate shared informal family photos of their son as his first official photos. Some royal watchers were disappointed that Prince George's first photos failed to show his face and was not of professional quality. The picture were taken by the Duchess's' father, Michael Middleton.
But the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been known to be informal in their approach, they have tried to break away from royal traditions of rigid formality, be it by changing diapers themselves or William driving his family away from the hospital.
