Chimamanda Adichie's Half of a Yellow Sun movie was premiered yesterday at the London Film Festival.Some of the actors in the movie,Chiwetel Ejiofor, Onyeka Onwenu, OC Ukeje, John Boyega were in attendance alongside the talented author, Chimamanda, the producer, Yewande Sadiku and the director, Biyi Bandele. Don Jazzy was also at the premiere and shared some photos via Instagram. Half of a yellow sun has premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8.
Adichie says this about the novel in an interview “It’s a book I am very proud of but it's also a book that has a lot of emotional meaning for me…Every page of that book matters to me,”.

ReplyDeleteGood.cant wait to see the movie.just hope it wasn't diluted so much cos the novel is a master piece.As for Adichies hair,Writers live in their world..I get the message.African women should be comfortable in their natural hair do"s ....gbam!
