The Pontiff has taken his social media presence to the next level by going live on Intagram following his record breaking twitter followers of over 4m beating President Obama.He holds the record of the most influential world leader according to a July Twiplomacy study, with his handle @Pontifex.
Posts on the feed include shots of the Vatican buildings and crowds waiting to see the Pope. He says he will be offering inspirations rather than revelations via his Instagram page.
The social media is a tool he seems to be familiar with and a great way to reach millions of faithfuls.
