Woman fakes her kidnap to rip husband of N200,000.

The Anti Kidnap unit of the Enugu state police command Saturday arrested one Mrs. Nancy Chukwu, from Agbogugu in Awgu local Government Area of Enugu state for allegedly kidnapping self, just as she demanded 200,000 ransom from her husband.
Mrs. Chukwu, according to the state police public Relations officer, PPRO, Ebere Amarizu, had Planned with a commercial motorcycle operator, identified as Chikwe Tochukwu, from Amakwe, Okeremiri in Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo state to call her husband Marcus Chukwu, in the guise of a kidnapper informing him that his wife has been abducted by unknown gun men who are demanding the sum of two hundred thousand naira ransom.
The PPRO, said immediately the security operatives received “a report from Marcus Chukwu, in connection with an alleged kidnap of the wife at Agbogugu in Awgu local Government of Enugu state they swung into action.”
“Investigations conducted in the alleged incident however, revealed that the arrested culprit identified as one chikwe Tochukwu of Amakwe okeremiri Aboh Mbaise in Imo state, an okada rider residing at Agbogugu was the brain behind the stage managed kidnap with Nancy which was aimed at reaping-off Marcus Chukwu, the husband of the woman, a sum of two hundred thousand naira as ransom for the release of the wife.”
Said Amarizu: “on interrogation, the seeming culprit, said he is an okada rider that usually convey Nancy home anytime she is back from market, but was lured into talking to the husband of Nancy while they were together with a tone of a kidnapper already holding Nancy under captivity, and that the sum of two hundred thousand naira is to be paid as a ransom to the account number provided which he claimed belonged to his friend, one Chikwado Chikwe.
Tochukwu, the PPRO said, is currently helping the operatives in their further investigations into the matter, just as he is begging for forgiveness.  On her part, Nancy who corroborated all Chikwe told the police, said the motorcyclist, had been her customer for quite some time.
“I asked him to call my husband while we were together and demand the said amount of money from him under the guise that I have been kidnapped.”
According to her, “I never knew what came over me prompting such behaviour and that is why am pleading for forgiveness.”

Why go through such an elaborate plan to rip your husband off? Sounds like a good script for a Nollywood movie
