57-year old Latoya Jackson finally marries Jeffre Philips, secretly.

 

Latoya Jackson reportedly got married to her long-time friend and business partner, Jeffre Phillips, on Friday, 6th December,2013.The 57-year-old star, who is the older sister of the late Michael Jackson, tied the knot with her long-time friend and business partner, Jeffre Phillips, in Los Angeles.According to RadarOnline.com  Latoya's mother Katherine Jackson and her nephew Prince, 16, both attended the low-key nuptials.It's not clear if her other siblings and father attended the ceremony.

 
Latoya did not mention her wedding on Twitter on Friday but tweeted: "Happy Friday Guys! An Act Of Kindness Is Always Appreciated!"
Jeffre surprised the singer by proposing on her show, 'Life with La Toya,' after she went on several unsuccessful dates.
But a source previously old the National Enquirer magazine that the duo have been together for years.
The insider said: "She decided to pretend she's looking for a boyfriend, but she's been with Jeffre for years. Everyone who knows them personally knows they're in a relationship. Jeffre is going along with it because he wants the show to be a success."
This is the second marriage for Jackson who wed manager Jack Gordon in 1989. She has claimed on her reality show and in interviews that Gordon abused her and tried to control her life.
"He felt that he owned me and he controlled me, he abused me, he did all these things to me and I never thought that I would get away," she told HuffPost Live.
"He always promised to kill me or kill my brother if I didn't do what he wanted me to do," she said to the Huffington Post in a different interview. "My mother thought he was giving me mind-altering drugs."
Recently, Phillips opened up about his long-time friendship with Jackson to The Daily Beast.
"I met everyone in her family before her," he said. "I knew Michael and Jermaine and everyone before I met LaToya and to be honest I thought she was thee odd one! Then I met her and saw how smart and talented she was and we just became instant friends."
