Also in the Vogue article,  44-year oldBlanchett - born Catherine - has mixed feelings about her sometimes erratic profession.

'I'm always threatening to give up acting, but then I get seduced back into it,' the mother-of-three said.

'I feel like I’m standing on the brink of something exciting.'
Cate is the best actress Oscar frontrunner at the moment having just scored Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations for Blue Jasmine.
