Femi Kuti gets his 4th Grammy Nomination for ''No Place For My Dream'' album.




Femi Kuti has reportedly been nominated for a Grammy Award in the World Music category for his 2013 album 'No Place For My Dream'.
According to reports, this is the afro beat singer's fourth Grammy Award nomination in a period of 10 years.
Femi is nominated alongside French group Gipsy Kings, South Africa's Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Indian musician Ravi Shankar.
He previously lost out to Panamanian salsa singer Ruben Blades in 2003, US banjo player Bela Fleck in 2010 and Malian band Tinariwen in 2011.
Femi allegedly learnt about his nomination via Twitter.
American rappers Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar and Drake take the lead with nine, seven and five Grammy nominations in various categories respectively.

He also features on the cover of Mystreetz Magazine December 2013 issue.

Hope he comes home with the award this time :-)
