Is Nigeria a sinking ship?

That's begging the question, I know but please oblige me.  Naija is a  land flowing with liquid black gold and yet it seems corruption has clogged the flow of the abundant milk and honey. A country where people come up with ingenious ways of survival like selling OBJ's and Iyabor's letters in traffic..see photo below:

The party wrote on its Facebook page that the calculated attacks on Jonathan had made him the “most maligned and most distracted President” Nigeria has ever had.
It said in spite of the widespread criticisms, the President will not be swayed from delivering on good governance.
“March on, Mr. President, the most maligned, the most distracted, yet, the most humble, focused, competent and the most committed President in changing the fortunes of the nation.
“Facts are emerging and facts shall continue to vindicate the just. No amount of blackmail is capable of halting the march to transformation. Go on, Mr. President, Nigerians are solidly behind you!” the message on the PDP Facebook page reads.
However, some Nigerians have challenged the ruling party over its perception of the way and manner some Nigerians severely criticise the President.
