The Nigerian Broadcast Commission (NBC) has reportedly banned 25 songs by a number of local and international artists, including D'banj and Timaya.
Nigerian Entertainment Today reports that the songs were banned because they contained "obscene lyrics and visuals".
Local artists weren't the only ones under the NBC's scrutiny. Rihanna's 'Pour it Up' and Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking ball' have also been banned.
NET reports that the NBC has also banned eight music videos earlier this year.
