Hair Crisis! Please vote.

Having a hair crisis can be a pain. Hair weaves cost an arm and a leg now. Gone are the days of ''cheap Chinese weaves''. Like someone said it costs the same price to buy a hair weave and to buy a plot of land in some places. A reader is at a ''hair cross roads'' and needs your advice.
Her question is simple but life changing :-)  :  ''People please vote: Braids,  dreadlocks or haircut?'' Help a damsel in distress.*wink*

The picture above is the reader's hair about to be chopped off....unless you can stop her...

    1. @ Anonymous4 January 2014 15:18 I just dont think Im ready for dreadlocks again. Its been almost six years since I considered it last. I've lost my appetite. It takes time to transition after you've been hooked on 'creamy crack' you know...

    1. @ Anonymous4 January 2014 15:21 Lol!! Come to think of it, the photo DOES actually look as if my hairline is receding. My mom wont be too pleased about that. The truth is, its not. I just wore a hair net for too long because of the heat.

  5. O girl your hair needs a man's touch#justkidding. You need to regrow your hair and let it breathe.

    1. @ Nwando4 January 2014 15:24 No you weren't kidding. I agree it could do with a man's touch but the man has refused to sign the attendance register. Might as well go to the barber.

  6. Dnt mind those advicing you to cut it, maybe they aint got no hair on their heads as well. Some of them would pay anytn to have ur kinda hair. Also, cutting ur hair doesn't make it cheaper to maintain. It even makes it more expensive. So... Try out othoer stuff like braiding, dreads or just retouching and wearing it silky.

    1. @ Bibian4 January 2014 17:27 Thanks a lot. Believe me, I REALLY want a natural look but the reason its taking me sooooooooo long to do is because my hair is extra tough.

When I leave it uncombed for even a few hours, a comb will not get through it.

Even now that I am an adult, I must confess I still cry sometimes when I have to comb my new hair growth and it has twisted.

  9. I don't think she should chop it off. A woman's beauty is her hair, besides her hair doesn't look bad at all. She still has hope cos I've seen worse.

    1. @Kike4 January 2014 17:29 Thaks for your comment.

Like I said to @ Anonymous4 January 2014 15:21, the photo DOES actually look as if my hairline is receding but the truth is, its not.

I just wore a hair net for too long because of the heat and the rubber band held my crown flat so it appeared as if I have a receding hairline.

I am just tired of 'frying', weaving, and etc.......

  10. African women should not use creamy crack or cut their hair. Neither should they wear other people's hair over their Black African hair. I know for sure that you will look more outstanding with braids to complement that HOT body of yours ;)
