Michelle Obama's simple & sweet Val message to Barack.

Michelle sent Barack a Valentine message on Instagram alongside the pictures above, saying:

“Hey Barack, I’ll always be your valentine! #HappyValentinesDay –mo”
Virtual Valentine: Mrs Obama sent this message to her husband and distinguished it from those written by her team by signing her initials at the end
A sweet, short and simple message.
The first couple usually adds their initials at the end of the tweet in order to distinguish which ones they write as opposed to those written by their staff.
When Mr Obama posted his Valentine's tweet to his wife, he didn't even pretend to do it himself as his message lacked his 'personal' sign off.

Barack responded with: 'Here's the truth: @MichelleObama is still the best Valentine,' he wrote with a picture of him kissing her on the cheek.

His turn: The President's team clearly put this picture up on his behalf, but it may not get him in too much trouble since she said she wasn't expecting a big Valentine's Day after her lavish 50th birthday celebrations
The holiday comes at a precarious time for the couple, who have been at the center of unattributed rumors about the state of their marriage. Much of the speculation came after a French paparazzo alleged that the President was having an affair with Beyonce Knowles, but the rumor was largely seen as an effort to deflect from the French President’s own personal troubles as he made his official state visit to the White House solo after news of his own affair ended his long-term relationship.
