Mary Kate Olsen Engaged To 17-Years-Older Boyfriend.

Mary-Kate Olsen is engaged to her 44-year-old boyfriend of nearly two years, French banker Olivier Sarkozy, according to Us Weekly.
The 27-year-old designer and Mr Sarkozy, the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, were vacationing together in Jamaica earlier this month - the perfect spot for a romantic proposal.
Despite raised eyebrows over their 17-year age gap, the couple, who first debuted their relationship in May 2012, already live together in a $6.25million townhouse in New York's Lower East Side.

While this will be the child star's first marriage, it is Mr Sarkozy's second. He divorced his ex-wife Charlotte Bernard, with whom he has two kids, Julien, 12, and Margo, ten, in 2011.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, she had her heart set on a rock 'over five carats', reporting that she had put several rings on hold, all with a price tag of more than $100,000.
The decision seems to have been in the works for a while. The couple initially sparked wedding rumors in January 2013 when Mary-Kate was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand wedding finger during a trip to Paris.
