Did Lupita Nyong'o get it wrong in her feathered Prada dress at the Met Gala?

She is the It girl in Hollywood right now and has never stepped out on the wrong foot on the Red Carpet but it seems she have hit a fashion faux pas with her Prada outfit to the Met Gala.

The feathered Prada creation featured emerald beads on a netted design over a brown slip dress.

Lupita's 1920s style flapper look appeared to split critics alike on Twitter, with Vogue tweeting that the actress 'can do no wrong' while many users replied 'yes she can'. 
While Grazia Magazine asked their followers to 'discuss' the outfit with one follower tweeting back that she 'looks like an extra from Lost'.
