Ex Military Head of State,General Muhammadu Buhari has beaten former VP Atiku Abubakar, present Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, present governor of Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, and the publisher of Leadership newspapers Sam Nda-Isaiah, to win the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential primary. He will face president Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the 2015 presidential election to be held in February 2015.
3,430 delegates voted for Buhari,974 voted for Kwankwaso, 954 delegates voted for Atiku,624 voted for Okorocha while 10 delegates voted for Nda-Isaiah
