#Bitterharvest: A fairytale on the dance floor.

I dunno who watched the dance competition ''Got To Dance''. It featured a lot of phenomenal talents but the couple that stood out for me is Bitter harvest. It's not just because of their story but their dance routine-classical ballet- is so exquisite and like one of  the judges, Adam, said, ''flawless''.
It could be because ballet is such an emotional dance but each time the couple danced you can feel their emotion and their love for each other. One of the three judges, pregnant former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt usually cried after watching them.
Bitter Harvest were one of three final acts to battle for the winner's crown on Friday evening
At the end Dance act Duplic8 were crowned the winners of Got To Dance 2014 on Friday evening after a closely fought contest with Dance Illusion and Bitter Harvest.

Comprised of street dancers Tobias Mead, 26, and 13-year-old Jak Tuite-Leach, the group turned in an impressive routine that helped win them the title, and with it a share of the £250,000 prize money.

Married couple Shannon, aged 49, and Peter Parker, 45, met 19 years ago as dancers with the Northern Ballet Theatre. They sell a pretty convincing love story, claiming that the GTD experience has reignited their love for one another as well as their joy to still be dancing classical ballet – at which they continue to excel, pulling off perfect lifts and placement, performing with emotion and excellent technique. But it’s their presence, togetherness and chemistry that really makes for good watching – a real balm after so much hyper street dance from the competition.
They retired 10 years ago, but decided to give it one last shot. The pair are by all accounts extremely generous teachers now, although they do perform occasionally at festivals. They are part of Opes, an international summer course giving children the opportunity to work alongside professional ballet dancers, and they also teach at Yorkshire Ballet Scholarship Centre in York.
Shannon said recently:
We work a lot from our hearts. Our technique, emotion and lifts are our main attributes. I think people are really behind the fact that we are a married couple. It’s romantic, like a love story unraveling in front of their eyes.
Judge Kimberly Wyatt agreed, saying:
Throughout your routine, I felt myself getting a little emotional because of the love and connection that you have.

Bitter harvest was my favorite act though and I was rooting for them to win, and like Ashley said, their story shows that anybody, anywhere and any age can follow their dreams.

Impressive: Bitter Harvest were one of three final acts to battle for the winner's crown on Friday evening They may not have won but they sure inspired a lot of people not to give up  on their dreams!
Winning performance: Duplic8 dance their way to the winner's title during the Got To Dance live final on Friday evening
Duplic8 many believe the controversial winners, seemed to triumph because of their back story rather than their talent.
