Lupita Nyong'o says make-up is an accesory and not necessary..

Oscar-winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o is featured on the latest cover of Lucky Magazine. In a interview with the magazine she explained  that she doesn’t find makeup necessary, though this is mainly due to her mother’s strict rules. She said:
“My mother has never ever worn a drop of makeup in her life — not even at her wedding. Honestly, my mother’s outlook was hard for me to take when I was a teenager and wanted to experiment. But in the end I appreciated it, because today I can look in a mirror with no makeup on and love myself.
“My mother didn’t think makeup was necessary, and I don’t think it’s necessary. It’s an accessory. It’s as necessary as a pair of earrings, if you know what I mean. It’s something I do to adorn myself. I don’t do it to hide myself.”
The ''12years A Slave'' actress shared a photo of her mum on her Instagram showing a very striking resemblance between them,  a 1983 photo of her mother, Dorothy Nyong’o and herself, Lupita in 2015. See below:

Ladies do you agree with her that make-up is an accessory and not entirely necessary? Can go go out without  any stitch of make-up for an event?
