Read the letter a 6-year old Aston Villa fan wrote to Mourinho

One young Aston Villa fan’s plea to Jose Mourinho to become the new coach of the club and bring Diego Costa with him persuaded the Chelsea manager to send a response – albeit only a signed photograph of himself.

Jude Branson, aged six, penned a sweet letter to Mourinho telling the Portuguese tactician he was his favourite manager before urging the Special One to leave his position at Stamford Bridge and take the helm at relegation-threatened Villa.

‘Dear Mr Mourinho, My name is Jude. I am 6 years old and I support Aston Villa,’ he wrote in his message to the Blues boss.‘You are my favourite manager. Please could you manage Villa and bring Costa with you? We need help. Thank you Jude Branson.’

And as news came through that Villa were, in fact, now looking for a new coach following the sacking of Paul Lambert on Wednesday, Jude received a reply from Mourinho himself – in the form of a signed photograph.

Speaking about Mourinho’s letter, Jude’s father Phil said: ‘It’ll be framed and put on his bedroom wall. It’s good to know that his letter was read and maybe even planted the seed in his head which will lead him to the Villa job one day. This is an excellent way to end a brilliant few days for Jude.’

Awwww how cute..this boy really loves his club enough to save  them :)
