Photos of the duo have surfaced from inside the lavish private birthday party he threw for the 27-year-old the week before last.
According to TMZ, the supposed lovers put on plenty of public displays of affection - but one of them it seems is perhaps more clingy than the other.
Its sources claim 40-year-old Leo couldn't get a moment to himself, and that the Umbrella singer followed him everywhere he went.
The limited photo evidence doesn't confirm this - it shows the Titanic star wearing his new favourite scruffy beard and flat cap combo, holding what appears to be a shot glass as he stands behind the birthday girl.
The blurred snap, shot between a wall of white balloons, also shows the Barbadian beauty in a white dress not paying Leo any notice as she appears to light something in her hand - a candle, or perhaps an enormous flaming shot.
Romance rumors have been swirling about the pair for months now after they were spotted together at several parties, although some reports claim they are just 'hooking up' and are not exclusive to each other.
One partygoer tweeted that the two were making out as one of Rihanna's own songs was playing: 'Just saw Leo and Rihanna make out while Pour It Up was playing. What is life,' they tweeted.
The Oscar nominated actor clearly feels something for the popstar though, since he was the one who organised the Friday's party in Beverly Hills. The star-studded bash, which ran past 4am, boasted Mick Jagger, Russell Simmons, Beyonce, Jay Z, Robert Pattinson, Jim Carrey Naomi Campbell and Bill Murray on its guest-list.
Curiously the guestlist also included Riri's other current rumored flame, Richie Akiva, who happens to be the owner of L.A.'s 1Oak night club - the spot the singer and Leo were seen together at the night after the party.
If he is a love rival to DiCaprio, the actor is obviously not afraid to test himself by inviting him to the party he threw and then bring his supposed girlfriend over to the club he owns.
On the night of her birthday, Richie Tweeted her a special message calling her a 'gift from God': 'Happy Birthday! #badass #sweethearted #talented #giftfromgod #feb20,' he captioned a photo of the pair from a different occassion.
