Doctor Urges Kim Kardashian to Consider Surrogacy Like Beyonce Did

Kim Kardashian’s struggles to conceive her and Kanye West’s second baby may put her life in danger.

According to a report on WENN.com, a doctor advised Kim that having another baby would be too dangerous, considering the health problems she experienced with her first child, North West, who was born on June 15, 2013.If you recall, during her 1st pregnancy, Kim suffered from swollen feet and extremities caused by mild edema, a build up of fluid in her tissue which may have been caused by a potentially deadly medical condition known as preeclampsia.

The reality TV star and her rapper husband Kanye West have been struggling to give their 21-month-old North a sibling, and on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that aired on Sunday, it was revealed a complication with her uterus from her first pregnancy is at the root of the problem.

Kardashian met with a fertility expert who urged her to consider surrogacy as she may struggle to carry a baby full term and a second birth could be potentially life-threatening.

Dr. Huang said, “You can still get pregnant, but it does expose you to risks during the pregnancy… If I can’t guarantee that and surrogacy is the only way to give you a comfortable pregnancy and a nice healthy baby, we’ll talk about that.”

Kardashian then told her mother Kris, “To have a surrogate is really scary to me. I don’t want one. I wouldn’t dare ask anyone to do that for me.”
