The 2015 Billboard Music Awards was held on Sunday in Las Vegas.
Performers included John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Sam Smith, and Nicki Minaj. But the artists who got the biggest crowd response weren’t even performers...
It’s no secret that plenty of people are kinda over the whole all-Kardashians all the time dynamic happening in pop culture these days.
And, the anti-Kardashian faction made their feelings clear at Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards when Kendall and Kylie Jenner hit the stage to introduce their brother-in-law Kanye West’s performance of All Day and Black Skinhead. The crowd booed the famous sisters, who pressed on with their scripted intro despite the disturbance.
According to Billboard, the booing didn’t end with the girls.
"The crowd booed Kanye at the end of his performance too," a source at the ceremony told Us Weekly. One thing in his favor — he wasn't booed quite as loudly as Kylie and Kendall!
Kanye received some heckling too after his set, which was so smoky and dark, he was barely visible. All Day was so heavily censored for viewers at home, that most of the performance was silent.
Rapper Tyga, who dates 17-year-old Kylie, immediately took to Instagram to support his hysterical boo.
