They are
eerily similar in almost every way. Yet look closely and you'll see
small but significant differences in the faces of these sets of twins –
one of each pair looks a bit younger.
And it's not simply down to them leading a more stress-free life.
Anti-wrinkle
jab company Galderma recruited them along with six other sets of
identical twins aged from 38 to 63 (via 'character' modelling agency
Ugly) to take part in a unique experiment.
In
each case, one sibling underwent cosmetic procedures involving
Galderma's filler Restylane, a gel injected beneath the skin to add
volume, reduce wrinkles and give firmness, as well as augmenting the
lips, cheeks and chin. The other twin had no treatment.

Spot the difference: Twins Gay (left) and Zoe Spink, 63, are both ex-models and beauty queens

 |
York-based 37-year-olds James (left) and Tom Martin are virtually identical in every way - but only one has had plastic surgery
|
 |
Dance teachers and keep-fit fans Amie and Julie Curtis, both 33, look similar, but only one had had filler injections
|
 |
Can you tell which had surgery? Kent sisters Diana (left) and Sandra Horner, 46, look virtually identical
|
DID YOU GUESS WHICH HAD FILLER?
- Gay, right, had the fillers to her face, neck and décolletage.
- James, left, had fillers under the eyes and in his chin to define his jawline.
- Julie, right, who didn't have the treatment, says: 'Now I can't wait to have mine!'
- Sandra, right, had the treatment and says: 'People tell me how well I look.'
