Halle Berry divorce rumors have been in high gear, and the evidence fueling the fire is that she's been ringless ... but now we know why, and it has nothing to do with divorce..

The single mother-of-two is denying rumors that her marriage to French actor Olivier Martinez is on the rocks.
According to gossip tabloid TMZ, Halle, 48, lost her wedding ring in January, and she and hubby Martinez, 49, simply never replaced it. Do you ladies believe that lie?
Gossip tabloid TMZ reports:

Our sources say, Halle lost her engagement ring in Mexico a year-and-a-half ago. She was at the Acapulco International Film Festival in January 2014 where she received the Silver Jaguar Award. Halle says the ring either fell off her hand or she left it on a table and someone took it.
As for why she or hubby Olivier Martinez haven’t replaced it … we’re told it just wasn’t a priority.
BUT …. she still regularly wears her gold wedding band. Our sources say there’s been no discussion about divorce with an attorney.
Sorry, fellas … Halle is still off the market.
