A spoiled rich kid in Italy narrowly missed serving hard time in a German prison for setting fire to a Ferrari 458 Italia that was gifted to him by his super rich father.
In addition to having the use of 14 other high end luxury vehicles, the spoiled 20-year-got by on an allowance of between $5,000 to $10,000 per month.
But despite living a lifestyle of obscene wealth, the boy grew tired of his Ferrari and decided he deserved to have the newer model. So he visited a Ferrari dealership to inquire about the trade-in value for the Ferrari his dad gave him.
Upon hearing that his car was worth only $193,500, the kid realized he couldn’t afford to purchase the newer model.
So the 20-year-old and the Ferrari salesman devised a plan to torch the car for the insurance money to pay for the upgrade Ferrari. The car salesman advised the hapless young men to burn the car across the border in Germany to avoid suspicion.
He enlisted the aid of 2 friends to commit the arson while he spent part of his allowance at a nearby massage parlor.
But it isn’t everyday that insurance companies settle claims for torched Ferraris. The insurance company did some digging and uncovered surveillance video and voicemails implicating the 20-year-old and his 2 friends.
The 20-year-old was sentenced to 22 months probation. His friends were sentenced to 14 and 16 months probation each.
The 20-year-old told the court he was afraid to tell his father he didn’t like the expensive gifted Ferrari.
Just negodu! When some have no food to eat!
I can only laugh! Ha! Ha! Ha!
ReplyDeleteHis father is to blame. Why make the irresponsible by giving him undeserved and unmerited luxuries. He should go and earn a living and keep his mind productive.
