Legendary Nollywood Actress, Stephanie Okereke revealed in a recent interview with Genevieve Magazine which she covered, why she waited 3 years after marriage before getting pregnant. In her own words, she said:
"Waiting this long to have a baby is a personal choice, and God ultimately decides. You have to be ready mentally and physically. I had a film I was shooting and I was travelling a lot to, My movie is out now, and I cannot even promote it across Africa like I wanted to, because am stuck in one place."
"It's also Gods timing, neither my husband nor I were pressurized. I feel this is the right time for it to happen. Right after we got married, I was on set shooting. but this year is different. It's the perfect year for me to get pregnant."
It's good to be prepared by God's grace before bringing lives into this world really, after all, we are fully responsible for their development and growth by the help of God..

ReplyDeleteIs 3years not rather long for couple of their age cos it's not like they are in their 20s or what.its always ideal to have kids before ur in ur 40s but I guess it's their choice to put her career before having kids.whatever rocks their boat.she looks lovely btw.
ReplyDeleteShe said it's God's timing, she didn't say they weren't trying. It doesn't matter what age you decide,women are putting career first these days before marriage and kids. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
