The 22-year-old singer - who has been dating Victoria's Secret Angel Stella Maxwell for a number of months - insists she is attracted to all and still very much on the market.

In a brand new interview with Elle UK, the former Disney star said of her current status: 'I’m very open about it – I’m pansexual....does that not make her bisexual? smh

'But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with.’ 

The term pansexual is derived from the Greek prefix pan, meaning 'all', and is used to for those who feel sexually, spiritually and emotionally capable of falling in love with people of all genders.

A person who identifies as pansexual is attracted to others regardless of their biological sex.

The singer and the 24-year-old model, who is Northern Irish but was bought up in Belgium and New Zealand, met through the star's assistant and close friend Cheyne Thomas.

Stella has spoken openly about their romance in the past, joking during an interview with V Magazine earlier this year that the two 'met through Grindr', the gay and bisexual dating app.

Miley's pansexual revelation comes after she hinted she was bisexual in May following her split from Patrick Schwarzenegger.

At the time, the singer confirmed not all her past relationships have been 'straight, heterosexual' ones.

But having confirmed her single status, braless Miley shows her sexy side in a tuxedo jacket for an accompanying shoot, as she claims she hasn't always felt as confident as she does today.

'I’ve had really bad anxiety and depression in my life and a lot of that stemmed from the way I look,' she said. 

'Now I really try not to give a f**k. If you’re funny enough and cool enough and confident, that’s what will make you feel beautiful.’

The star, who was once engaged to Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth, says she refuses to conform to society's ideals about gender stereotypes.
