Moroccans lie on the ground in memory of drowned Syrian toddler

Moroccans lie on the ground in memory of drowned Syrian toddler by lying down in the exact way the toddler's body was found-face down, arms lying by his sides and wearing a red shirt with blue pants, his face in the water-
Dozens of Moroccans lay on a beach in Rabat, Morocco, on Monday, to pay tribute to Syrian toddler Aylan Kurdi, who was found dead on a Turkish beach last week.
Dressed in red and blue, around 30 people re-created the heart-wrenching scene when Aylan was photographed lying face down in the sand, triggering an international outcry over the Syrian refugee crisis.
Three-year-old Aylan Kurdi drowned in an ill-fated journey to Greece while fleeing the Syrian war with his family.
According to media reports, an estimated four million people have fled war-torn Syria, seeking asylum in other countries.

  1. This is so touching. I pray that Aylan's death will not be in vain.

  2. This is the direct consequence of destabilizing governments of certain countries in order to achieve their selfish interests. The world should see America as the greedy monster it has become.

    1. America is evil. And to think they refused to take refugees is appalling.

    2. Just a paltry number of 10; 000 refugees to be taken from now till 2016 . shame! A big shame on america.

  3. Chai!I weep! I weep! God have mercy on us.

  4. God have mercy......

  5. This is sorrowful.
