Ego Boyo ruled the Nigerian movie industry in the 90’s, especially with her role as the enigmatic Ann Haastrup in the smash hit TV series Checkmate produced by the late amazon, Amaka Igwe. Later, she would go on to star in Violated, paving the way major stars today like Rita Dominic and Genevieve Nnaji even as she exited the industry.
Yesterday, Ego Boyo attended the premiere of Genevieve Nnaji’s latest film, Road to Yesterday, all made up by beauty house, Beauty Cooks. She was also spotted at the ongoing 2015 edition of Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) with Rita Dominic and Ini Edo.
