Albert Nnadi dies aboard Arik Air flight from Owerri to Lagos

Nigerian airline, Arik has reported the unfortunate and shocking death of a passenger on-board a flight which took off from Owerri to Lagos.

The 57-year old man named Albert Nnadi was confirmed dead at  the Lagos airport when his body was brought down from the aircraft after he failed to disembark with other passengers. He was said to be in the company of one of his relatives, identified as Damien Nwachkwu. They were reportedly traveling to Lagos to seek medical assistance on the deceased’s obesity problems.
A spokesman of Arik Air, Mr Adebanji Ola confirmed the news, stating that the man started showing signs of uneasiness midway into the flight.
The body of the man has been deposited in the mortuary by the Police while investigation into the immediate cause of death is ongoing.
