Obafemi Awolowo University shut down indefinitely?

According to reports,Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has been closed down indefinitely following continued protests by the students which took place on Friday and Monday paralyzing academic activities. The students were protesting against alleged poor living conditions in their halls of residence especially ‎poor power and  water supply.

However, the Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr. Abiodun Olanrewaju, refuted the claim that the institution has been shut down, saying the authorities only gave the students a mid semester break.
