The leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and his wife Uchekwu welcomed a bouncing baby boy.
Moments ago, the first photo of the adorable child was shared online and his parents have reportedly named him Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Nnamdi was arrested last year and charged with criminal conspiracy by the government, the charges were later dropped. However, he is facing new charges of treason with two other people in relation to his agitation for the creation of the Republic of Biafra from the South East and neighbouring regions.
