Haa! Did this is really happen in Warri?

A bride was given palm wine at her traditional marriage today, and  told to swear she won't sleep with any man but her husband, she refused to talk and boom! Marriage was cancelled because of this and guests were asked to leave. 
The drama took place some where in Warri Delta state 

Wonder why the bride refused to answer if this was a well known tradition in her village, she would have expected the question or was she set up?

Or maybe she used this tactic to cancel the wedding.
