President Jonathan Cancels AFCON Finals Over Intestinal Problems; While Babangida’s Leg Disease Worsens

AFCON finals wont witness the prescence of Goodluck Jonathan due to some intestinal disorder called Amoebic Colitis, that took the President to the London Clinic on Harley Street,same Clinic Governor Sullivan also visited.The President had planned to surprise the players on the finals but will now be replaced by the Senate President,David Mark and his entourage.
Report has it that he had to undergo some medical tests at the very exclusive and expensive Clinic.

On a different note,former Nigerian President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida was also sighted at the InterContinental Hotel in London limping on one leg. Mr. Babangida was helped into a vehicle by two aides on his way to the hospital.
He ran into President Goodluck Jonathant,as Babangida struggled to get to his car and had to to be helped into his car by two aides.

Its common practice for the rich and powerful in Nigeria to travel to exclusive hospitals abroad for any health scare rather than improve the appalling health sector in Nigeria whether its for security reasons,the practice seems to have come to stay with our leaders.
In order to make up for his absence at the finals, President plans to have a lavish reception for the Super Eagles in Abuja on Tuesday night.
