Tolu Oniru ( Toolz ) Stars In New TV Series ‘The Island’ Set to Debut Soon.

Beat FM’s On Air Personality Tolu Oniru popularly known as Toolz is set to feature in a new TV series ‘The Island’.The weekly series  was directed by Bobby Boulders and was shot on exotic locations across Africa and stars predominantly Nigerians; Demola Adedoyin, Tolu ‘Toolz’ Oniru, Seun O, Eku Edewor, Derin ‘DJ Caise’ Philips, Somkele Iyamah, Rotimi ‘DJ Xclusive’ Alakija, Zainab Balogun, Venita Akpofure and Tracy Nwapa. ‘The Island’ was created by Tola Odunsi and written by Bayo Lambo with Tola Odunsi and Akin Akinkugbe as Executive Producers.A teaser trailer for the series was previously released to get people expectant of what’s to come and that seemed to do the trick as the trailer showcases something different from the conventional African TV series.

The Island portrays the web of intrigue and machination that characterizes Nigerian high society, as seen through the loves, lives, and exploits of a group of young, attractive, highflying island dwellers in the city of Lagos as they come together to portray a lifestyle where love and loyalty come with a price-tag and power is only a game of changing seasons.

Lets hope the cast will do justice to the much anticipated series and give ''Jacobs Cross'' a run for their money in terms of the suspense,cast, location and story. They have the best ratings in Africa for TV Series.
