Dana Airline Back In The Air,Again.
The email above was sent out to customers by the airline just two days after being suspended by the Federal Government.Its license Air Operators Certificate has being restored again.
According to the statement, one of Dana’s aircraft had a snag which led to the temporary suspension for safety reasons.
“At the end of the
meeting, the suspension of operations of the airline which took effect
last Saturday was lifted. The airline is to resume normal operations
immediately. However, the particular aircraft which had a snag over the
weekend is to remain grounded until after its airworthiness has been
re-certified by Boeing, the manufacturer of the aircraft,” ThisDay quotes him as saying.The statement was signed by the Special Adviser (Media) to the Minister of Aviation, Joe Obi, after deliberations between officials of the Ministry and those of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on safety issues and Dana’s operations.
Na so,this country has a pretty long way to go.jst two days?money exchanged hands and they are air worthy.smh
