I’m yet to decide whether I will accept Governor Akpabio’s cars – 2face Idibia

 

 

The announcement by Governor Akpabio to present The newly married couple with 2 Toyota SUV's have led to public outrage as well as well the Governor's  promise to sponsor a 29 delegation team to Dubai for the couple's white wedding.In the wake of the public announcement,Tuface has stated that,  he is not sure if he will accept the cars Governor Godswill Akpabio presented to him and his wife, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, during their traditional marriage.

The announcement has attracted a lot of controversy, with many observers insisting that Akpabio should have sunk in the money into various projects crying for attention in the state.

However,  Bayo Omisore, 2face Idibia’s spokesman said: “The governor made a promise, when the cars come, we will decide whether to accept them or not. We cannot take a decision on the basis of a promise that is yet to be fulfilled.”
He also denied knowledge of the negative reaction by the public over the gifts.
