Queen's hospital guards

Police outside King Edward VII's Hospital, central London,

While the Queen recuperates in hospital, these two cops keep guard at the entrance of the hospital.
Britain's tallest and shortest cops.
Pc Anthony Wallyn towered over his colleagues at 7 feet 2 inches tall.
He was stationed alongside the smallest officer in the Met's Westminster Borough Support Unit, Pc Tony Thich, who measures 5 feet 6 inches.
The pair, who are known as Big Tone and Little Tone, stood at the entrance of London's King Edward VII Hospital while the Queen received treatment.
Pc Wallyn, whose nicknames include Big Tower, Tiny and Freak, has required a custom made uniform since joining the force four years ago.
The father-of-one, who wears size 17 shoes, said: "I get 100-500 requests for a photo each day.
"It's like being famous but without the money.
"It's happened every day of my life. If it didn't happen I would be worried."
Pc Wallyn admitted it would produce an unusual image if the Queen - who is 5 feet 4 inches tall - walked past him when she leaves hospital.
