Roof of Sheraton Hotel Lagos,caves in and collapses.
The roof collapsed during a conference at the banquet hall of Sheraton hotel in Ikeja today.
The roof was leaking and the attendees had to be taken to another section of the hall.
Unfortunately,the roof collapsed and everyone ran to safety.The management of the hotel were more worried about pictures being leaked than rendering apologies to the attendees and ensuring their safety.
Pity the pictures have already gone viral,thanks to the ever increasing number of blogs in the ''blogspere'' :-) and the rapid rate of ''photography'' by people.
No statement by the Management of Sheraton,yet.

This could have been caused by some construction errors or poor supervision of builders.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to Naija now..the ship sinks while we take pictures...But then, a routine check woulda alerted sheraton(a supposedly) first class hotel...#shame.
