A crash that occurred in the early hours of today,around 01.35hours at Fire Academy, Sheda, involving two vehicles, a Marcopolo luxury bus registered XG.413FGG, belonging to GUO Group of Company and a J5 Bus XA726NSR resulted in the death of 18 men.
17 died on the spot while one later died at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital,Gwagwalada.7 persons comprising of 2 females and 5 men were injured.The injured were taken to the University of Abuja General Hospital, Gwagwalada.
A total of 96 persons(70Male and 16 female) were involved in the fatal crash.14 of the corpses are presently in the morgue of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, while 4 were deposited at Kwali General Hospital.
