And it seems that Chris Brown has got himself into a needless spot of bother yet again.
According to TMZ, Brown is being investigated by the LAPD after committing a 'hit-and-run.'
It's not as cut and dry as that suggests, however.
The 24-year-old rear-ended another driver earlier this week but allegedly refused to give her his driver's licence and it's being claimed that he passed over incorrect insurance.
Brown's Range Rover inflicted 'medium damage' on the Mercedes in Toluca Lake on Tuesday, according to a report from the same celebrity website.
Brown, who didn't try and flee the scene, has more to lose than most as he's still on probation for beating Rihanna back in 2009.
If there's evidence to suggest he left the scene without fully disclosing information, his probation could be violated and he could face a prison term of up to four years.
Mail Online reached out to Chris' spokespeople but have yet to hear back, but TMZ report that Brown claims the other driver has been avoiding him and that he did nothing wrong.
Brown is said to be living with Karrueche Tran once again after splitting from Rihanna again.
Karrueche was on hand to take photographic evidence of the smash.
According to TMZ Karrueche has been staying with the singer since they got together again and she has already moved most of her clothing and other personal belongings into his Hollywood Hills home.
