Vulture.com is reporting sources as saying that at least one, if not all, of the judges chairs could be filled with Idol alumni.American Idol suffered its lowest ever ratings this year as Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban joined Randy Jackson on the judging panel.
The show is expected to undergo a dramatic revamp as it continues to be beaten by newer singing contests like The Voice.
Producer Nigel Lythgoe's job is reportedly in jeopardy and it is expected that Idol will do away with its 'theme nights'.
