Meet the New American Idol Judge.

FORMER American Idol contestants like Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert could be set to return as judges as producers try and turn around the former ratings juggernaut.Jennifer has already signed the dotted lines.
Vulture.com is reporting sources as saying that at least one, if not all, of the judges chairs could be filled with Idol alumni.

American Idol suffered its lowest ever ratings this year as Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban joined Randy Jackson on the judging panel.
The show is expected to undergo a dramatic revamp as it continues to be beaten by newer singing contests like The Voice.
Producer Nigel Lythgoe's job is reportedly in jeopardy and it is expected that Idol will do away with its 'theme nights'.
American Idol has just completed its 12th season with Candice Glover beating country singer Kree Harrison for the title.

American Idol has nailed down its first alum turned judge: Jennifer Hudson.

Multiple sources confirm exclusively to E! News that the Oscar-winning singer has signed a deal to sit at the judges' table this fall for season 13. The other two spots are also intended for former Idol contestants:Kelly Clarkson and either Adam Lambert or Clay Aiken.
We're told that Clarkson is also close to signing on. No word yet on whether Lambert or Aiken will fill the final spot, but producers are expected to keep the panel to three members.
