The airport was commissioned yesterday, and hopefully International
flights to different parts of Africa will commence next month. The
airport was a given an impressive facelift, from an obsolete and
dilapidated airport to something a bit more modern. With the new airport
comes a palpable fear of a massive lay-off of some staff to make way for recruitment of professional people with the improved standard of the airport.
A beg they should not spoil this good development by sacking anyone from work. Things are too difficult in Nigeria right now and man must wack.
ReplyDeleteI tire o!meanwhile this is quite a massive improvement from the days of a "villge like" airport.kudos
ReplyDeleteStunning transformation.check out the peaugeot 505 and 504, brings back memories... :)
ReplyDeleteFinally!thought it wasn't gonna happen in this lifetime.
ReplyDeleteReally nice!luks like an airport now.
ReplyDeleteIn this era of terrorism, they still allow cars to park next to the terminal building?
ReplyDeleteNigerian security is never proactive. They allow disasters to happen first before they take steps to mitigate it.
