Meet John Olumba, from Imo State & the First Nigerian to run for Detroit Mayor.




John Olumba is a 31-year old Nigerian running for mayor of the city of Detroit in Michigan. He is a lawyer, an ordained pastor and he is currently a State of Michigan House Representative.

According to wikipedia, he is the first Nigerian elected to a state office in Michigan history. His dad is from Owerri in Imo State.

Rep. ObamaOlumba ranks amongst house legislators introducing legislation.

He has accomplished more in the legislative agenda & state budget than any other Democratic Representative.

I think he is kinda cute :-) his name reminds me of another powerful politician..*wink

    Nopes he looks more like Tyler Perry though he is a little chubbier. He is lucky to b in the US. His age mate a 30yrs old guy was arrested the other day in Port Harcourt for being in possession of only N93,000 and on the way to the bank to make a deposit. The police claimed he is too young to have only 93K. Naija.
