Well a pastor in Texas states that is the case and wants to ban his church members from the use of hair weaves, when he was interviewd in AmericanPreachers.com:
“Our black women are getting weaves trying to be something and someone they are not. Be real with yourself is all I’m saying. Long hair don’t care. What kind of mess is that? I don’t want my members so focused on what’s on their heads and not IN their heads. I lead a church where our members are struggling financially. I mean really struggling. Yet, a 26 year old mother in my church has a $300 weave on her head. NO. I will not be quiet about this.
We all know the cost of human hair weave-ons, plus the advent of hair thieves in Venezuela. The price of looking good is getting quite expensive ooo.

I understand where the pastor is coming from. People shldnt be living above their means anyway.

ReplyDeleteWomen do it just to belong,to show other women that they have arrived. Most men don't like hair extensions,they find it disgusting. Infact most men don't like anything arificial like fake lashes,fake boobs,etc. They want their women natural,at least women they want for keeps.

ReplyDeleteLadies spend time & money taking care of ur natural hair so u don't have to spend time & money trying to hide the consequencies of over processed hair. Some have to wear wigs even to bed cos they r already going bald at 25 yrs.
